Non Wi-fi Mobility

This may be a rather dumb question but my mini is wi-fi only (not 3g) and if I go places (like church or hospitals) where there is NO internet connectivity I want the highlights and notes already on my mini to remain. (it may already do this) Currently when I am in a wi-fi area and am connected, the highlights disappear only to reappear shortly thereafter (this may be normal behavior). I just want to ensure that if I happen to take my mini and go somewhere where there is no internet connectivity that the notes and highlights currently on my mini will remain. Does anyone know this answer or is it in reality a "dumb" question?

I'm confused... is this about an iPad mini (You aren't posting in the iOS forum...)?

If so, notes & highlights do remain when not connected to internet.

At first I thought you were talking about a Mac Mini... but the "3G" is what made me second guess.

If you have a smart phone (iPhone or other) you can set up a hot spot on your phone and have your iPad tied to it when out and about (that is guessing you would have a Cell signal).

Dan, forgot that capability! I do indeed have an iphone and also am on one of those "share everything" plans so this is very doable! Thanks for reminding me. At my age things get by rather quickly!
