Mega Pack seems to have stopped my iPad from working
The night before last I bought the Mega Pack after thinking about it for several days. There were about 15 books in there that I really wanted, that in total cost more than the price, so it made sense to me. Last night, suddenly Logos no longer worked on my iPad (running IOS 5, but up to date). I downloaded the existing update to Logos, only to read that individuals with very large libraries will still experience stability problems. My stability problems are that Logos won't even open now on my iPad.
I use it almost totally in a WiFi environment. I am doing NOTHING particularly fancy - only reading and going to links. I know I could do more, but it's what I enjoy doing. And I use it for hours each day sometimes.
I cannot remotely afford to buy a new iPad. I'll accept that I made a mistake in buying these books, but I need to pair down my library so that it will run on my iPad. I can't seem to find a way to do that. At 9:11 EST, it's too early to try to contact Logos Support, so does anybody have any ideas? (And I can't really read it on my phone, so that's not a viable alternative.)
Please help!!
Sincerely,
Sandy Martin

no answer for you, but I want to share my experience: once I just downloaded a new book on iPad and everything stopped working. And then logos app didnt work anymore. And then my account. I WENT CRAZY.
You know what? It was some server problem, plus my mistake to click at the wrong moment. Nothing bad happened, just frustration for 1 day, and everything went back smoothly.
I hope it will be your case too.

Welcome to the forums Sandy... Sorry you are having troubles. [:s]
Some questions:
- Which device are you on? 1st gen presumably?
- How much free space?
- How many downloaded resources?
- Have you tried a full shut down of the device?
- Have you deleted the app and reinstalled? Note: you will lose your downloaded resources.

Alabama24, thank you so much for your suggestions. (I am not really very iPad savvy.) I am running a 64 GB Gen 1 and discovered I have about 30 GB available. I don't really know where to find out how many downloaded resources I had. A full shutdown didn't work, BUT deleting the app and reinstalling it worked!!!!! I don't mind about loosing my downloaded resources because I can just redownload the ones that I'm reading/using right now. God bless you and thank you so much for your help.
Have a wonderful new year,
Sandy Martin

Paolo, thank you for your suggestion so quickly. I was able to delete and reinstall the app which made it work just fine. I appreciate your efforts to calm and help me.

You're welcome Sandy. Glad to help. [:)]
FYI - there are two ways to see your downloaded resources from the mobile app:
- Turn your device to airplane mode. Since you wouldn't have an internet connection, everything showing would be the downloaded resources
- Use the syntax local: in the library search bar. Note: it is cap sensitive.
