Just thought that I would take the time to wish all who are celebrating the Advent of Christ into the world a Very merry Christmas, and may you have a happy, joyous, and spirit filled new year.
Merry Christmas from the Bahamas.
Now that was low down and dirty! I bet you even have shorts and sandals on today!
By contrast...this is what it's like here in WV...
Sorry Robert, send me some snow, and I will send hyou some rain. Never seen snow before.
Send us some too. Here we are in Canada, AKA the Great White North, no snow on the ground, and lots of rain heading our way (just north of Lake Ontario). Give me snow anytime over rain (in the winter that is).

Wow! Is that you with the shovel, Bob! Looks like you got our weather... I just moved (Oct 15) to suburban panhandle Idaho from rural Montana... In Montana, we'd get 3-5" of powder that the wind would blow into 3-5' drifts. Here in Idaho, I was a little alarmed to find out that they viewed a "little" snow as being anything under a foot. And it's the heavy wet snow like it looks like you're standing in.
Here's hoping you're able to enjoy hot cocoa & the heat of a fireplace, by now.
Merry Christmas!
Bill,
it was pretty light snow....just a lot of it....I just got done digging my wifes car out of it.
This is unusual for us....usually it's not quite this much; it comes and goes....it's already warming up and melting a little....
I don't know, Bob. It looks to me, like you are having PLENTY of fun!!!
Forgot to say:
Dan in Olympia, Washington
Yes, that is WASH-ington, but no washing today. Clear, blue sky. It is 40 degrees, 26 at night. But streets are dry, and the birds in the backyard seem happy.

The snow lay on the ground The stars shone bright When Christ our Lord was born On Christmas night. Venite adoremus Dominum Venite adoremus Dominum.
Chorus: Venite adoremus Dominum Venite adoremus Dominum Venite adoremus Dominum Venite adoremus Dominum
'Twas Mary, daughter pure Of holy Anne That brought into this world The God made man. She laid Him in a stall At Bethlehem The ass and oxen shared The roof with them.
Saint Joseph, too, was by To tend the Child To guard him, and protect His mother mild The angels hovered round And sung this song Venite adoremus Dominum.
And thus that manger poor Became a throne For He Whom Mary bore Was God the Son. O come, then, let us join The heav'nly host To praise the Father, Son And Holy Ghost.
