I own Verbum Capstone and Catholic library Builder plus Portfolio, Jewish bundle, several major commentary sets .....
What is value of Capstone +? I do not have Navarre set.
Price to me 165
The most notable items are the dataset that supports the Catholic topics section and the resources behind the Saints section of the ribbon.
As for the Navarre commentary, I find it useful because it is currently so influential. It is not always to my taste.
There are two Navarre Sets now part of the Verbum Capstone+ Library; New Testament (regular $184.95) and Old Testament (regular $274.95). There is also Upon This Rock from Steve Ray and the Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church (regular $17.95). Youtcat (regular $18.95) is new to the library, if you do not already have it. There may be some other added resources, but I was unable to get a comparison list.
Does that help?
I bought it because I had Verbum Capstone already and the upgrade to Capstone+ was only $122.84, and I tend to buy reflexively without thinking much about how much I'll use resources. Can't tell you how useful it would be to you. I haven't had time to use any of it yet other than checking out the saints feature on the ribbon the day I downloaded it.
BTW, who is VSOP? Various and Sundry Other Persons? Very Special Old People?
I thought vsop was Logos version of VIP?
I believe you're thinking of MVP.
MVP stands for Most Valuable Player in sports. Other software companies (I think Microsoft started it) have rewarded highly involved users on their forums, who know the product well and voluntarily answer user questions, with the title MVP (which for Microsoft means Most Valuable Professional). In the Logos context we've interpreted it to mean all sorts of things, including Many Volunteer Posts.
