Customizing Power Lookup and "6 People Highlighted This"

Haven't been on this forum in a while, but I found a link on Michael Bird's website to some videos on how to use Logos 5 and I have a couple of questions as a result.

1. Can you customize the power lookup so that only certain things pop up? I just don't need every link in blue to show up on my power lookup.

2. How can I disable the little pencil icon in all my books that notify me when someone else highlighted that passage?

This software is still incredible!

Those are called "popular highlights" and are controlled via the visual filter menu (three intersecting circles). If you uncheck the box, the highlights will disappear for THAT resource. If you right click, you can choose "don't show in any resources"

Regarding your #1 question, power lookup does just that.  Can't turn the power down.

You'll probably like the Information panel more.  It allows moving your mouse over the reference or clicking, and then tailoring the type and nature of references (settings button).

Actually PowerLookup is best for a low reference type of resource; Information for a high-reference. I accidentally let the PowerLookup follow my LSJ lexicon.  It was indeed powerful.
