It would be nice if Logos allowed an option to see a book with a static view of the materiel, meaning that the same content would always be on the same part of the page. In other words, the Logos view could synchronize itself with the book's built-in page numbering.
Resizing a view would probably zoom in/out the font size, modify the spacing and margins or some such. It might even have to leave whitespace at the bottom of the page – whatever was needed to format the page nicely.
I do not want this so that I can match the printed book's formatting. That sounds like it would be extra work, and would require making sure each line started and ended with the same word as some specific printed edition of the work. I only want it to be consistent for me in Logos. I find I organize a lot of materiel by location in my mind. For example, I know that John 3:16 is located in the bottom half of the left column of the left page in my ESV Bible. I found many other people recall information about books this same way.
Customizable columns would still be nice to have for me. I wouldn't want to lose the feature that allows me to set how many columns are displayed in order to have this feature.
It also might be useful to specify a ratio of how many book-pages correspond to how many screen-pages. For example, I might want to see 2 pages of book material for each page flip in Logos, or I might want to flip the page in Logos twice in order to see 1 page of book material.
Perhaps this feature is already in Logos, but so far I haven't found it.
PS This is my 1st post, I just bought the program, I apologize if this is in the wrong place.
