Are terms being highlighted same as ver. 3?

Hello and Merry Christmas,

I am just posting this in case it is a bug/correction that Logos can add to their list.

I am still working through learning other features, but twice now I have had cases where in ver. 3, multiple terms are highlighted, and in ver. 4 they are not.

The first case was a morphological search, where I searched for a verb and noun in the same query. If I search for the verb or noun in separate searches the search term is highlighted in the results. But when a query looks for both in the same query, only a single term of the query is highlighted (it looks like it might be whatever term is first in the query). I ran identical queries in Logos 3, and there the noun and verb would be highlighted in the result in a different color.

Second problem I found was in syntax search. I was looking for particular subject-verb relationships, and if I had a verse returned in results where there were actually two hits in one verse, in version 3 both hits are highlighted. In ver. 4, only one hit is highlighted. In fact, to me, if I didn't know the result had two hits in a verse, it would not be immediately obvious that there were 2 hits!

I may have done something wrong, if not maybe this kind of results highlighting is something Logos has stated they are working on, does anyone know? It's a little confusing right now in ver. 4 if I am using it correctly.

Can you do me a favor and do a "control" search?

Since it works for me; (finding multiple search terms) could you just do a morph search on the BHS with BIBLIA HEBRAICA STUTTGARTENSIA : WITH WERKGROEP INFORMATICA, VRIJE UNIVERSITEIT MORPHOLOGY

That way the issue can be narrowed down to what it might be.

In syntax search, you need to identify which nodes should be highlighted. Click a node and select "Highlight this term in results" under the "General" heading of the node properties on the right.

I see what the difference is in the search - in ver. 3 the different terms were highlighted with different colors so you could identify them quickly. In ver. 4 all terms are the same color (unless there is a way to change that).

EDIT: I must be on Christmas day "food coma" as our daughter will say [:D]

The morph search (for example just a simple @V @N as shown above) highlights both terms in the same color, in ver. 3 they are different colors. I re-ran my syntax search tonight, and sure enough those search terms of ICs showed up in different colors.

So for me the problem is just the morph search.

Ahh....Bob...shouldn't you be eating turkey and opening presents and watching "A Christmas story" for the hundreth time instead of answering Q's on the forum?

This then is the suggestion for L4 so that we can differentiate the terms in the results and in the resource!
