Dan Pritchett - Don't leave us in the dark

Dan -
Just curious if Logos reached the "milestone" you were hoping for by the end of the year? You don't have to say what it was, I'm just curious to know if you did.
Thanks,
Ron

That'd make two curious souls here.

I'm not curious, because it doesn't affect my wallet in any way. Now unless they say "Free upgrades for everyone for reaching our milestone" then it'd be different. [:P] Otherwise, whether I (we) know or not, it's up to them if they want to tell us. [;)]

Then we won't count you - at least in this thread.

I was going to ask for another cartoon to be drawn that illustrated the victory of the frog over the crane, but my first ideas seemed to involve a little too much violent imagery. [:O]
Anyway, I am pleased to announce that we hit our goal!!!
It was really a blessing to be able to hit the goal and exceed it by just under two-tenths of one percent—as in WOW THAT WAS CLOSE!
We released some phone only specials at the last minute, we extended our hours until 9 p.m. the last day of the year, we did more messaging than normal, and we really squeaked by in literally the last few hours of the year.
Good thing we are on the west coast, or we might not have made it. Hmmm, another reason to consider moving to Hawaii... [;)]
From marketing to sales, customer service & tech support, accounting, web and more... the Logos team came together to work extra hours, focus on the goal, and move mountains to make it happen. I am really proud of the team and am thrilled for doing such an incredible job!
Thank you all for your support, I hope you got some great deals!

Maybe Dan is kicking back and enjoying a nice long winter break after hitting his milestone... [:)]

Yeah, but then you would have two fewer hours in the beginning of January so it would still all come out the same number of hours in the year.

Wait, what? Hmm, I may have to look that up - two fewer hours in the beginning of January for Hawaii.

Excellent! It's amazing what can be done when the goals are clear. A little lesson I've been learning myself lately. :-)

Good thing they didn't set their 'goal' for Christmas Eve!
DAL ... if you read the geography books from junior high, it should be obvious that Hawaii has more time. Locations near the equator (the large part of the earth) go around more than locations near the arctic poles (which go around hardly at all). This is why, when you go south, your watch seems to go slower (when in fact, there's just more time).

I am Dan Pritchett, but another "Dan Pritchett." I am a pastor in Hagerstown, MD (www.valleygrace.net). I didn't realize that my name would automatically be inserted. Perhaps picked up from my Logos account? Sorry for the disappointment for those who felt were communicating with the "Dan Pritchett" of Logos [:#]

Does this mean that we might get a good deal on ZONDERVAN ILLUSTRATED BIBLE COMMENTARY at long last maybe?
No idea why that is so expensive still.

Perhaps we could move the international date line so that they would lose an entire day. [;)]
