Cross translation notes on iPad
I read and take notes on my iPad every day. last year I read and added notes for NLT. This year I want to use NIV 2011. switching over removes the notes!! Do you have to manually copy each note and highlight across? This seems so time consuming" how do I ensure notes I add this year sync back to the NLT.
how do you solve this? Thinking I might have to start keeping my notes outside of logos, maybe pen and paper, which is annoying!!!!

Notes can be one of three kinds:
- Unattached note (not tied to anything)
- Note "by selection." These notes are tied to the actual selection, and therefore are tied to a particular resource (book). All highlights are notes "by selection."
- Note "by reference." A note "by reference" appears in any and all verisified resources.
You can add notes by reference and they will appear in all bibles. Highlights, which require you to make a selection down to the very character, are resource specific.

Thats handy. So how do you convert all your notes to these special "reference" type. I can see there is a button when you do a new note, but I cant work out how to update existing notes and highlights!

Also remember that highlights are ALWAYS notes "by selection."
