I am just starting to use Logos for my read the bible in a year.  I have questions that I am marking, but how do I see them?  Is there a way to see all notes or sort, filter them?  I would like to go back over my reading and collect my questions for  an email to my friend who was a pastor,

thanks,

Holly

Hi Holly - and welcome to hte forums.

All of your highlights / notes will get stored in something known as a Notes Document.

Depending on how the app is configured on your iPad these notes will be going into one single document or several. It would be useful to find out which. When in the notes editor you should see the document name at the bottom.

Once you know this, access the "Documents" panel - one of the options which appear when you "right-swipe" from the left of the screen

This gives you a list of all your documents including the one you are making notes on

If you press on that you will see all the highlights and notes you have made in it

You can't email from there but you could select the text and copy into an email program.

Hope this helps - but please post back if any of it doesn't make sense or you need further clarification

All notes are stored in a note document. Have you looked for the appropriate note document (see the sidebar for a document button)?

Ok, thanks for the help in finding the notes.  BUT, on e I edit a note or try to make a new document, I can no longer get back to reading.  It just won't go back.  I deleted the program and reinstalled.  It was fine til I edited the document.

does the default doc have to stay the default, or can you rename it.

i am so confused, how do I figure this out.

Sorry, can you provide a bit more detail? I don't fully understand what you are saying

If you right-swipe from the left of the screen you get the sidebar with various options. One of those is "Read" which should get you back to your last reading position.

does the default doc have to stay the default, or can you rename it.

Do you mean the notes document here?

If so, when you are creating a note or a highlight press on the right-arrow next to the Document name at the bottom of the editor dialog box. This will give you a list of your documents and you can choose the one you want or create a new one using the "+" at the top right of the panel.

If you want to change the default notes document for highlights, go to the settings menu and click on the entry below "Document for Highlights" and you can choose which one you want there.

i am so confused, how do I figure this out.

Please provide precise details as to what you are trying to do and the things you are struggling with.

    And we'll get there[:)]
