OK, so I listened to too many MP3s while mowing the grass in Dallas. That's why we moved to Arizona.
And yes, 'we' use hear-aids but they're a $6,000 pain (batteries, getting them in your ears, and then turning them OFF at Sams).
But this week (and maybe earlier, the function below) there's an app on iTunes called 'EQ HearAid'. I don't have stock in the app, but I'd probably pay him to buy a spellchecker for his app.
In any event, it's mainly designed from an audiology standpoint and I'm not an audiologist (speech pathologist earlier in my life), so I can't vouch for it's technical prowess. But what it does great for church is amplify the sound!
How simple! You just plug your earpods in, start 'er up, and wah-lah! You can also fine-tune the frequencies, responsiveness, etc.
OKaaay! Logos Bible, amplified sound (when needed .... some sermons beg to for podding at sleeptime).
And people think you're listening to music and doing your Facebook too!
Some additional advice. The app dev has trouble at just about everything. The app is free but you buy it in-app ($6). But best I can tell, he can't tell you use several iOs devices, so he tries to get $6 more each device. So pick the one you want it on, if you do sign up.
