Question on Ebooks

I have a question on Ebooks.  If I own an Ebook, that Logos has, can I import it into Logos and get the tagging?  I have a commentary in my Ibooks that Logos carries and was curious if this were possible.

Technologically it is possible to export books of many types into Logos. The tagging can take some work, and its not that hard to figure out... However, the real question that these threads turn into is SHOULD you convert a book of another format into Logos. This is apparently a legal grey area (though how grey depends on your interpretation of a variety of laws).

I don't fully understand the heart of your question, but a literal reading the answer is "no."

You CAN import ebooks. You do so by converting the eBook into a MSFT .docx file, and compiling a personal book using the PBB. Any tagging, other than auto scripture hyperlinks, you must add yourself.

You CANNOT buy a book from Apple (or other retailer) and expect Logos to provide you with their "value added" Logos edition of that resource.

Gotcha, that's what I thought.  Thanks for the replies.
