Searching is obviously more robust in Logos on the Macbook. But when I find something that I want to read - especially long sections - I want to read on my iPad.

The resource page location data DOES sync... but you need to know how it works. Unfortunately, it isn't always intuitive, and could use a major reworking. If you open a resource for the first time on your iOS device, it should open to where you left off on your desktop installation. If you have already used the resource on mobile, and it was active in one of the two panels, it will remain in place.
