Reference Links In Notes Do Not Work In iOS App Version 4.0.3.2257
Whenever I tap on a scripture reference in a notes document instead of popping up the scripture preview it begins to edit the note.
Also when creating a note in the iOS app the scripture references are not even highlighted.

Hi William,
This is a known issue - this feature has not yet been implemented on the iOS apps.

When will this feature be implemented?

Which feature were you talking about anyway?
The Android apps include a rich text editor for creating/editing notes (see screenshots) and better supports clicking on links within notes (I think the iPad supports clicking links right now, but not the iPhone). This will eventually be coming to iOS, but I'm not sure of the timeline.

Is the Android editor supplied by the OS, or does it come from Logos?
We wrote it. I wasn't directly involved, so I don't know the details, but I think it was a pretty big undertaking.

I know you cant give out time frames, but since this article began in January, do you know if it has been dealt with. I use the app while preaching, and being able to follow links instead of pasting the entire piece would be very helpful to help me keep place, since having so much information in my notes, it becomes convoluted. Just to be sure, this article is talking about the inability to follow links created in notes, when reading them in iOS In the PC version, we use Ctrl +(click) and the Mac would be Cmnd + (click)

Reference links in Notes are not supported in the current version of the iOS App (4.3.2). At this time I have no further information about if/when it will be supported.

Would also love to see this supported. I use the app on my ipad mini to preach and would love to be able to jump back and forth to linked passages from my notes window.

Agreed, this would be a very nice feature. I use the iPad while teaching a class. I knew it would show the reference on the PC and Mac, so immediately started doing my notes for this weeks class on my PC, only to find out it doesn't work with the iPad. It highlights the verse(s) in a blue box, but no reference verse pops up. I thought I had a great alternative to what I was using, but alas, no. I'm looking forward to seeing it soon, possibly.[:D]

This can be done. I have another Bible Study app from another company called Olivetree that I have had for several years even way before the Logos app came out. It has the ability to create notes with Bible references and are automatically linked to the Bible of your choice. If they can do it so can Logos.

I just purchased a Logos package from the Notes Syncing capability between devices. As I am playing with the iPad app vs. the Desktop app, Rich Text Edit capability is greatly missed in the Notes section.
Is this on an enhancement request list somewhere? Great software otherwise.
