Different translations for same reading plan

I have created a small family group and we are exploring using faithlife to share reading plans. The group consists of myself, my wife and my mother.

I am Catholic, they are both baptist. I prefer to read using the NAB, they prefer to read using NIV. When I create and share a reading plan in my desktop Logos out to the faithlife group, it enforces the translation I share it with. While they can, of course, open a different translation and read there, all the "start reading" and "stop reading, mark as read" changebars as well as the links in the plan itself are keyed to only one translation.

Is there any way to mix translations in the same reading plan and allow each group member to use their preferred one or is it a "one size fits all" type of deal?

The reading plan is tied to the translation you select.

One option would be to create a second identical plan for other translations.

I created a layout which had the default translation on the left, and a different translation on the right. These two panels were tied together via a linkset, and once I finished the reading assignment, I would merely go click on the "Mark Read" button in the default translation. Maybe you could make the reading plan tied to the NIV for your Mom and wife, and you can use this approach to follow along in the NAB.

[edit]: You won't be able to click on the reading plan in the sidebar to access this layout; you'll need to access it as any other saved layout. Clicking on the "mark read" in the translation tied to the reading plan will update the sidebar widget though.

That might be a workable plan, thanks! I mainly read on the desktop while they are using the faithlife.com site which is more limited on layouts. That puts the onus on "making it work" on me, and makes it easier for them to just use it without getting bogged down in the details.

That will probably work out well, and I'll try that for the next plan that we go through.
