Any Possibility of a Forums App?

I'm not sure if anyone else is on the same page here, but I would love it if there was a forums app that had notifications when anyone has responded to my forum posts, and also a main page with the most recently posted threads.

I don't know if financially it would be beneficial for Logos at all, but it would be pretty cool! Would anyone else be interested in something like this?

use the "Email me when someone replies" top rhs of post , if you are using a valid email account you will get a email notification.

web page already shows latest active threads, not sure what extra an app would give you

The telligent community server they use for the forums may have such an app, or not.  But way back when the forums started I looked into the software as much as I could and was underwhelmed at the options it has versus other forum software on the market.

This one had one feature only that made it the right choice IMHO: It linked with the existing Logos login system.  IOW I wouldn't hold out much hope.

EDIT: I feel compelled to emphasize that I looked at the software a few years back when logos switched it on - not since.  Perhaps something has changed.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Yeah I don't know who else would be interested in this because I think most forum users are in front of their computers all the time, I'm most often not though; and it seems that apps usually do the same things web pages do, they're just on smaller screens and easier to navigate. im basically just wanting something that would have easier navigation on a phone or tablet.

TC I did find an app in the ios store, and it does register the forum site, but for some reason it won't let me log on. Maybe the app is for employees only, I'm not sure.

I found several other forum browser apps in the ios store, but they come programmed with their own forum sites. I'm trying to find one that the website can simply be typed in (flipboard does this, but can only view posts, not respond). Does anyone else know of an app that can browse through any random web forum, or simply one that will work with the Logos Forums site?

I do really miss the Newsgroups...  Plenty of software to read them off line.
