I attempted to log onto logos and it rejects my account. I can get into the forum but cannot edit my profile or change anything. What happened? What can I do to get Logos working again?

logos picked the wrong email account as user name.

You may need to wait until Monday for customer service to help.

There are two parts to your log in: 1) your customer name (usually the email address you used when you first purchased Logos resources); 2) your password. Make sure both are correct and up to date. NOTE: your forum log in info is not necessarily the same as your log-in information for the program (which is why you can log in here, but not log in to the program). If you've changed anything recently, try reverting back to your old customer name and password and see what happens.

You also may be able to work with Logos off-line (have you tried that?).

The most common reasons (in my limited experience) for not being able to log in are:

    • I recently changed my email address in my Logos profile.
    • I changed my email address, but didn't change it in my Logos profile.
    • I recently changed my password in my Logos profile
    • I'm trying to log in with my password (but it's the wrong password).

If you recently changed something in your Logos profile, it may simply take time for those changes to percolate throughout the system. If you changed something without changing it in your Logos profile, then you need to change your Logos profile. Log into your account on Logos.com--even then some report that sometimes (at least) only a phone call or email to customer service can solve all the problems with making changes. Double check your password (and make sure your Caps-Lock is not on as you type it in!).

Yes, for some reason the OS selects defective or obsolete records from the password locker.

Not to be too technical, but the browser is what chooses the credentials, not the operating system :). You can purge the obsolete records from within the settings area on your browser.
