Scroll line by line?

Is there a way to scroll the iPad pages of a resource book a line at a time, or rather more accurately, smoothly and continuously throughout the book? This is how other things work on the iPad/iPhone, I am hoping I just don't have columns or something set up properly.

Logos has not enabled "scrolling" text as a "reading mode" per se. You CAN scroll, but the function of this ability is for the purpose of arranging the page appropriately for highlighting purposes. If you need to scroll a little to span the pages, use a two finger swipe (up or down).
