like replacement files for the journals from Galaxie Soft
update resources in the command window should do it all for you, if they're available.
Unfortunately you can't access the L4 server via FTP (it's at http://resources.assets.logos.com/), nor browse the server.
Regardless, the replacement journals haven't been released on the Logos 4 server yet, so "update resources" won't update them. I don't know why, but suspect it's because they're still in the process of creating specific .logos4 files for them. You're able to download the Logos3 versions of those files in the usual way. The most complete collection of L3 journal files is at ftp://ftp.bible.org/galaxie/libronix/updated_journals_lbx3/
Make sure you DON'T download them direct into your L4 folder, but download them into a separate folder and use the scan command.

Yes but they number n the hundreds- the difference is between ##1 and #2 macjine both running L4, even after moving #2's resource folder to the #1 machine it still does not recognize the resources that show in the #2.
The folder when I moved it had 3842 items- after putting it in the #1 data folder- it showed only 3801- and only 3732 items show in the L4 library.
I can't believe there is such a difference from comp to comp and between all my resources, not including any PBB's.
Do you have a bunch of journals? I understand the Galaxy journals aren't converted, yet, either...

Yes about a 1000 total- but there # is not effecting the total- there the same # in both machines.

Am I understanding you correctly that your issue isn't with the difference between L3 & L4 numbers of resources, as an earlier post implied? Your concern is with the different numbers of resources on 2 machines that you've updated to L4?
Did they both start with the same number of L3 resources? Did they both sync licenses before updating?
If yes to both those questions, I think maybe I'm stumped, too... unless perhaps you used one as a beta machine & had beta resources on it... ?
Yep- both L4- both beta- they are sync'd- and I have even put the resource folder from #2 into #1- with it showing 3842 items- after I restarted #1- it still only has 3732 items in library- versus #2 which shows 3772.
I'm stumped, and cannot for the life of me figure out what the difference is.
I was having trouble earlier after doing everything with an index issue- kept downloading and indexing the same 214.9 mb- finally had to delete resmgr.db and then the resource folder from #1 to get it to stop- that issue is solved now.

I think I have it all figured out now just have to restore my main resource folder to bring #2 back in line with #1.
I'll need to run a compare program to determine which resources are not in one versus the other.
