Mac: Linking Note File Hyperlinks to Local Files

I'm having issues creating hyperlinks to local files on my Mac in an L5 Note File. L5 keeps appending http:// in front of any hyperlink I type in there.

How can I set it to link to a local file on my Mac?

Let me know if you need an example of what I'm doing.

Copied the directory path from the Get Info window and pasted it into the Link field in the note.

The resulting link did not really look like a link, but it worked

Noted that although I renamed the file in the Finder to remove the space between words, the Get Info window still showed it as three separate words, but the link still worked. Command-Click still opened the parent folder. However, it did not select the target file. That may be because the file name was originally three separate words. Might try this with a file that has an original single-word name.

NOTE: Pasting the directory path directly into the note did not work for me.
