Media Resources and Topics not working on Android Logos Bible App

I have a Toshiba Excite Pure with latest edition of the Logos Bible App. Neither the Topics nor Media Resources work. I uninstalled and reinstalled. These work great on my Kindle Fire. Any help is appreciated.
