The new release did NOT initially work so do not panic if it doesn't.
I had lost use of the resource download manager a bit ago, but after updating with this release nothing initially improved.
I then re-installed 4.0.14 and found that it did re-download resources that had been on the Android previously but not those I had instructed it to download in my desktop library where I had renamed my device "Nexus 7 (2012)" 3 months ago and had subsequently still worked.
After an hour of playing around by adding and removing downloads on my Android, as well as closing and opening Logos on my Desktop and also my device, the mystery was solved when a new entry appeared on my PC library devices list "google Nexus 7". I removed the old entry and have re-named the new entry to my liking and all is working perfectly.
I guess that that my downloading resources directly on my device might have triggered the new device entry to appear. I understand that new device names can sometimes take up to 24 hours to appear so I was fortunate .
I have no idea why my device lost its connection with the original device name on my desktop (and also the Logos web 'manage mobile devices' entry). Possibly because a combination of the bug and my renaming of the entry in the past.
However it does now work and I am very very happy.
Thanks!
