It's currently at a hefty $350. 

I assume everyone knows that if we get enough lower bids, the price will drop. Since Logos makes the same money on CP, let's all bid $50 so we can drive that price down, get it published, and get a great resource (and new) for a reasonable price. 

For those who do not understand how it works, Logos puts titles out there (almost always titles that are out of copyright status, as it is much cheaper to publish). There are several price points, from very low to very high prices. The higher the price point, the fewer the number of bidders needed. (Let's take a book, that costs say, a hypothetical $25,000 to publish). In order to get it published, Logos needs at least enough people stating they will cover publishing costs. So, once there are more than 25 people agreeing to pay $1000 it will go to Pre-publish. But, say there are 50 people willing to pay $500, everyone who bid $500 or higher will get it for $500. And if 2500 people bid $10, it would cost $10 for all who bid $10 or more). 
That may not be 100% accurate, but, it's pretty close to how I understand it to work. There's a video that explains things better, probably. But, the point I want to make is, it takes more people (in this case, 7 to 1) to get it down from $350 to $50. 

So, how do we get 7x as many people to bid on it? Post links in your favorite forums (where allowable), tell people how cool this item would be, and how they can help lower the price to $50. 

But, what happens if there's still not enough people to drop it, and I don't want to miss out? Will bidding $50 make me lose out? 
If everyone from here on out bids $50, it will sell for $50 (assuming there's enough "everyone from here on out"). But, let's say it's getting extremely close, and it only drops to $300, and you really want it, regardless. Logos sends updates alerting us to when it will close. Simply raise your bid to cover it. 

This looks to be a really cool title, that's a bit too pricey for me at $350. But, with everyone's help; maybe we can drop this down to a more affordable $50-100 price point.

Don't mean to rain on your parade, but this might backfire on you.  A while back there was a big push for everyone to jump immediately onto Princeton Theological Review at $50.  The trouble is, it will take many, many, many more people at $50 as opposed to $200 and the project has stalled. 

You are probably better off to promote this at $150 or even $200.  Once it crosses the line and is heading to prepub, then we can make a drive to push down the price.

Anyhow, I do like these resources and would love to see it go into production. Even more so at $50, but because of the size of this project I think it will take many years at $50 to cover the costs.
