Does the information at http://wiki.logos.com/Notes#Creating_hyperlinks_to_documents_in_your_computer (admittedly written for Windows) help with some pointers?

There is only one difference to establish this link for the Mac version. The directory path is located in the Finder Get Info window. Even if you cannot see the entire path in that tiny field, select it and copy. Then follow the steps outlined in the link Graham provided.
Do you need any assistance in finding the Get Info window?

I already knew how to set hyperlinks in notes, but could not figure out how to set a path, but Jack's additional suggestion for Mac helped. Thanks

Thanks, Jack. That helped. I tried just highlighting and copying the path, but then realized that I need to manually add the document name. Is this correct, or am I missing something? Thanks again.

Document name would probably be the best thing to place in the note, but any text would work. Just select the text that you want to serve as the link, then click the link icon and paste your directory path into the field that appears.

Pleased to be of assistance

Jack ~ I was referring to the path link that is found in the Get Info window; it does not contain the file name, and that is what I am manually added to the hyperlink before hitting Enter. For instance, the path for the document "Equifax Letter.doc" is /Users/CarpeDiemCoramDeo/Documents/A Personal. So after I paste that in, I type the file name then "Enter." Is there an easier way?
