Copy verse to send via text

How do you copy a verse to send via text?  The "Share" menu does not have a text option.

    How do you copy a verse to send via text?  The "Share" menu does not have a text option. 

    If you select the verse and copy it to the paste board you can open 'Messages' and paste it into a message. The paste board holds its contents between apps.
