I just pasted a small part of one of Gabe's blog posts into a 'To Do' note, in order to look at it later. Should have taken seconds, but of course it didn't. As always, I found a number of problems:
1) I couldn't get a single one of the references to link, for various reasons. I thought about creating a separate thread about that, but I know you'll just tell me it's by design, so it seems meaningless. I just want to point out once again that the current implementation of 'automatic' linking is so restricted as to make it virtually useless for pasted text. People who write outside Logos simply don't do their formatting with Logos in mind. Not even when they happen to work for Logos.
2) After having pasted the text and the URL, and having tried to get the linking to work, I realized I'd just used Cmd-V, so the font and size were all wrong, so I selected it all, Cmd-X'ed it, and pasted it all in again with Shift-Opt-Cmd-V. That made the bottom part of the note look like this:

a) Cmd-V didn't split the URL up like that. Shift-Opt-Cmd-V shouldn't either.
b) The rest of the URL disappears from sight and cannot be selected, similar to BUG: The PB tool can't handle long titles.
