Product page error: Baker Exegetical Commentary

Dynamic pricing on the new Baker Exegetical Commentary on the New Testament (BECNT) (16 vols.) page is broken. It's trying to charge me $42 even though I already have the whole set.

I get the same. It doesn't let you add it to the cart though, so I think it is assuming you have all the items.
There was a new volume on Galatians added at start of January. I bought that in Jan when on PrePub and it was approx the price that the site is displaying. So I'm guessing one hand of the logos site knows I have all the volumes so doesn't let me add it to the cart, but the other hand thinks I don't have the volume because it wasn't in the original definition of the BECNT set.

Mark, it is also saying I don't own one, but it is the newly released Moo volume on Galatians, which I did not pick up. Did you pick that one up? Even if you did, I still bet that it is a problem with how it figures in dynamic pricing since it's new.

Yes, I did pick up the Moo volume.

I'm replicating this behavior and have opened a case to investigate it. Thanks for the report, Mark.

I can discuss this in a different thread if it is more proper. I do think there may be a bit of a correlation though. I already own 8 out of the 16 volumes. My price offer comes up showing 64% off. But that is not correct and slightly misleading. I already own 8 so the 8 that I want to buy, at their per book price, are at 32% off the full print price with an average of $50.00 (print).
Now the picture improves if there is a stray 41.99 being added to everyone's price and if this comes down by that amount then my per volume price is closer to 46% off but still nowhere near 64% off.
What I would like to see if the custom pricing reflecting a true discount percentage based on the original print price per volume for the 8 I will be buying. Not the original price of all 16 volumes and then a price quote for just 8 which does appear to be a huge savings that is not real.
I hope that is clear enough. I am trying to avoid disclosing my actual pricing in case that is frowned upon.

I agree with this. To use an illustration, let's imagine a ten book collection which sells for $150. Each individual book costs $20, so it's being offered at a 25% discount. If I own 9 of the 10 books, Logos will tell me that the collection sells for $15, which is a 93% discount. Whilst technically true, that is misleading, and of no real value to me

You're right. That's a bug. You should see the current sale price since you could buy that resource for someone else.
What you're seeing instead is the price floor—a price below which we cannot sell the resource. We're working to repair it.
