Why do I get a log-in screen every time Logos 5 starts?

Since the latest update, a log-in screen appears prior to launching the home Pages. Logging in on this page always produces the message "Unable to log in to Logos.com. the only option is to choose "work offline"

This never used to happen before! And why does the log-in page not work?

My OS is Windows 7 64-bit Ultimate

My guess from "since the latest update": Check wether your antivirus detects Logos as a new/changed program and thus blocks the necessary internet connection.

In addition to anti-virus, if you have a firewall & also have application level control of what apps can talk to the internet, check those settings, too...
