WATCH YOUR HEART - Joshua finally ordered a Surface Pro!

Hello everyone.

Please watch for heart attack and shock but......

I finally took the plunge and ordered the original Microsoft Surface Pro (heat issues + lack of volume - oh well) and one of those fancy backlit clicky keyboards. I am replacing my Toshiba Pentium Laptop and going to use my nearly paid off copy of Logos 5.0 Silver on it religously to the glory of God.

Please link me to any previous forum posts here that will help me while installing Logos and tell me what you use to optimize and clear it cheaply of malware and nasty dll bugs going forward.

Also, any Logos tips (that is why I posted under general) are much appreciated here.

I hope those who have read my voluminous posts through the last couple of years will pray for me as I leap into Surface Pro land.

(please pray my 2013 tax relief is big enough to cover the cost so my wife will be happy too!)

p.s. I bought it during the Super Bowl promotion which is now over and it cost $499.00.

Thanks Bill...hearing from you first in here is a blessing. I long to use the Surface Pro to be helpful and useful in Bible Study...will report on my findings as time goes on here. I anticipate that not being locked in at my desk all the time now will be nice too.

Funny George, but I think that will only happen when years from now when (God willing) hopefully i am ordained and serving as an assistant pastor someplace - probably bivocational - and have learned to draw others to Christ, not repel them because of my...ahem...less than soul-winning, bumbling, well-intentioned, but occassionally semi-abrasive personality. (Honestly, how God works through any of us still amazes me?)

God could stop the sun then...to remind me that all things are possible ONLY through Him, even co-working through one as unlovely and undeserving as me.

I will of course have my shoes off and be prostrate on the ground.....and shortly therafter be thanking God first and then my wife for all Diane has endured and persevered through for/with me through the years...then promptly walk away from the pulpit (ordination day) to continue to be a slave to God's righteousness anew praying the second continuing part of my life I am not so clueless and lazy for Him as I was the first part....and hoping God will help me tell The Truth in love boldly yet with compassion in HIS timing HIS way.

....and i will recall that day long ago when the wind blew through my thick blond 14 year old hair on Reservoir Road in Ledyard, CT on a sunny day when God first reached out to me and reassured me I was His and what direction I should head in.....and I will smile [:)], thankful again He never took His hand from me, despite the many times I became a self-sabeuteur and let this world carry me away - only to be lovingly drawn back repentent and reconciled at long last to God's purpose for us all - to live to Glorify, Serve, and Make Him known to all forever.

You will not regret your choice. The first time the SSD re-indexes your library in less than 2 minutes you will wonder what you will do with all the time savings.

My wife will go to UPS tomorrow to get my new School-Bible-Tool (Original Surface Pro)

This way it wont be left in a snowbank or be bounced off a wall by a UPS man (laugh but it happens).
