SALES: L5 Minimum Crossgrade

A friend of mine is going to be getting L5 Bronze (first time Logos buyer) and will want the added features of clause search, bible sense lexicon, etc.
The disclaimer on that page states he will need the L4 Minimum Crossgrade too. Is that true for anything in the L5 Crossgrade or is would that only be for certain resources in addition to the data sets and tools to ensure compatibility?
Also, does it matter what order they are purchased for indexing to add them in appropriately? e.g. First Bronze, then L4 CG (if needed), let it finish indexing and then do the L5 CG?

Logos can certainly handle the purchase in any order, so indexing will not be an issue. And since your friend will but a base package, he will not need the no longer offered L4 Minimum Crossgrade.
I would strongly suggest calling Sales in order to buy them both together so that they can give you the best deal.

The L4 Minimum Cross Grade is still available and the L5 Minimum Cross Grade Web page states that if you have never own an L4 base package you will need to purchase the L4 Minimum Cross Grade package in addition to the L5 Minimum Cross Grade.
I would recommend talking directly to sales before deciding L4 Minimum Cross Grade is not needed. At the very least carefully check the L4 minimum cross grade package against the contents of the L5 Bronze package. Off hand I am not familar with Bronze level.

Thanks for advice - I'll give sales a call and see what's what. I doubt there will be any bundled discount beyond what you'd get automatically by owning a base package. I went through the same thing when going to L5 but I had L4 already so I just paid a minimal fee to get the new extra tools.

Calling Sales helped a bunch: The base package(s?) contains the necessary data sets and tools to make the L4 Minimum Crossgrade not a requirement and they did bundle L5 w/ the L5 Crossgrade at a discount... love working with this company!
