Highlighting Sync - what is reasonable?

Hi,

I highlight some text in my iPhone. Next day the highlighted text still doesn't show up in my desktop.  Both seem to sync well, no errors or anything. New resources are automatically downloaded, indexing is quickly completed in the desktop, etc., but I still doesn't see my highlighted texts being sync, sometimes in quite a while (sometimes it is just a matter of a couple of hours.) So, what delay is reasonable?

That's a question better asked in the iphone/ipad forum as it may indicate a problem with the iPhone app.
