BUG?: notifications not displayed

Hi,

I'm using Firefox 27 on Windows 7. When I go to my Faithlife page it shows that there are 4 notifications on the left side, but when I click on notifications I don't see anything.

I've got the Javascript plugins set to ask to be enabled, but I changed it to enabled for the faithlife page, it didn't make any difference. I do run Avast Antivirus on my computer, I saw in some other threads that might be the problem so I switched off all the Avast shields for a while, but that didn't help either.

Is this a known bug, does anyone have the same experience?

    By the way, I opened the page in my Dolphin browser on Android and it is exactly the same there. (Kitkat on N7)
