LEB narration stops/repeats quite often…
Is there a known fix for this? I've downloaded the entire set of files onto my phone. Can wi-fi issues affect performance? Is wi-fi even need since the files are on my phone?

You need to be online, strangely. But the text scrolls rapidly, without affecting the speech, when a download is occurring. When the download is over the text scrolls with the speech.

I don't think there are any known issues. More information would be helpful...when you experience issues, can you go to the Help screen and click "Send Support Info"? Hopefully the logs will help find the problem.

You shouldn't need to be online if you've downloaded the audio files (for the LEB at least...the ESV has licensing restrictions that prevent us from allowing the audio to be downloaded). I haven't seen the rapid scrolling issue either...logs for that would be appreciated as well.

Yes, I've double checked that all my LEB narration files are intact. I primarily use my LEB narration at the gym and would be at the mercy of their internet connection. I'll keep my eye on things, but my sense has been that things work correctly when an internet connection is available. I first thought the issue was my phone bumping about in my hoodie.

Sorry, thought I had to wait until it started behaving badly again. I just sent the log.

Ideally, yes, wait until you start experiencing issues and then send the logs...we might find something useful in the normal logs, but chances are slim.

I can't get the LEB Audio as a separate resource in Bible or Vyrso app. With LEB as the sole resource in Library, I have a speaker icon and a Download All button that does nothing except flash a brief, unreadable message.
After pressing the speaker icon online I notice an "Ongoing" notification for the LEB audio which works offline for the remainder of the previously chosen chapter. When offline it will be dismissed by pressing the speaker icon in Library!
The Logos 5 desktop app allow me to choose LEB Audio Media resource for download, but nothing happened.

In the LEB info panel there is a Media Downloads item you can tap - this should bring up a dialog where you can download/remove audio files.

I'll write up an inquiry case for this - thanks for the report.!

I read that as part of the text above and below because there is no background to delineate it as a button.
But what about the Download All button and the brief, unreadable message?

The read-along audio resources are hidden from the mobile library because you can't open them on mobile (or, if opening them doesn't crash the app, it certainly doesn't do anything useful). The actual resource file is automatically downloaded the first time you play audio, but the actual audio FILES aren't downloaded unless you follow the steps Kevin described in his post.

Hopefully my other post answers your real question, but I believe the brief, unreadable message says "Downloading...". Your internet connection is just too fast and the resource finishes downloading before you can see it! [:)]

But the LEB is already downloaded, so why does the Download all button appear when only LEB is listed?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you...any chance you can post a screenshot?

Kevin was able to figure out how to reproduce the bug and I figured out why it's happening and I'm working on a fix now (should be simple). Thanks for your report!

This is still a problem in the 4.1.5 beta. Why not delineate it as Media Downloads (black background) - the way it appears in the actual Downloads panel.

I'm not sure adding a background to the button is the right answer here, but I agree we need to do something to improve the styling of the button. We're already planning on adding some new features to that code in the near future so I'll make sure we fix the button at that point (might not be in the next release though)

Actually, this will be in the next beta. [:)] I just updated the styling of the button which should help.
