How do I get Logos5 to read out loud through the speaker. I want it to read a chapter to my through the speakers both on desktop and ipad or iphone.

Read Aloud (Cmd-R or Ctrl+R in Windows) is a feature found in the desktop's panel menu. Controls will appear at the top of the window and it will utilize your speakers (although I can't be as certain for Mac!). For iphone/ipad it would be best to enquire in that forum.

For clarification: "read aloud" can mean one of two things...

A computerized audio reading of the text, rendered by the "speech to text" capabilities of your operating system. NOTE: some resources are unable to utilize this feature. In most cases, this is due to publisher restrictions which disallow this capability.
An "audio book" style (human) reading of the text. There are a handful of texts with this ability. The LEB and ESV both have this capability, but you must acquire the license for the read aloud first.

For mobile (at least on iOS), the first kind isn't available, but the second kind is. As Dave suggested, if you need help with the mobile apps, you should create a thread in the appropriate forum (iOS or Android). If you are still having troubles with L5, please let us know which resource you are using, which version of L5, and which platform.
