Unexpected exception encountered during synchronization

I installed Logos 5 for the first time today. The program opens but I have no Bibles and when I go to Help it is all blank.
When go to help it is blank as well.

Unlike the mobile apps, Logos 5 doesn't come with any free books preinstalled; you have to purchase resources for them to be available.
If you know that you have purchased some resources, then the cause of your missing books is probably that you've signed in to Logos with the wrong email address. (The email address associated with your forum account has no resources unlocked.) The quickest way to fix this should be to call Customer Service and provide enough personal information (name, address, etc.) that they can find your existing account.
