I was playing around with logos 4, trying to find the easiest way to have a lot of windows up and be able to cycle through them. I floated my exegetical guide, my preferred bible, a target bible and left the passage guide.
My problem was I wanted to add text comparative to my preferred bible and
Power lookup to my target bible
I also tried to have my exegetical windows open up in my exegetical guide.
Long story short it was not easy.. When you try to move the text comparative to the preferred bible panel.... the floating window minimizes. I had to float all the windows I wanted to move. My exegetical targets ended up reverting to my passage guide window when I clicked on them. I just floated my first target and moved it to my exegetical guide panel, it ended up working. My exegetical guide targets ended up staying in the floating exegetical panel:) so I did not have to move each target.
I wish there was a way to make it easier. I like having four logos tabs on my taskbar, I am able to look at each section full screen !!!!
(passage guide, exegetical guide, Bible & text comparative, Bible(target) and power look up) in full view. This type of layout made my study much smother ( my panels were not so small that way). The major problem I had was when I wanted to move a panel from my passage guide to a floating window. My floating window would minimize. Maybe the solution is to have a way to keep your floating window on top, so when you click something on the passage guide it does not minimize. ( just a thought)
