This book is on sale from another company. I don't know if this is a loss leader or a publisher sale. Could someone see if there is a publisher discount we could take advantage of?
Hi Kevin. I also saw this promotion. Since this is a Logos (as opposed to Vyrso) resource, Logos doesn't ordinarily match publisher discounts because of the extra cost Logos has incurred in preparing and tagging the book for incorporation in the Logos environment. Had it been a Vyrso resource, a price-match would have been far more likely.
That said, this is an excellent resource, and any discount from Logos would be welcome! [Y]
Don't forget, March Madness is right around the corner! [;)]

Guess which publisher I bought from?
The March Madness Sale is coming. During last year's sale I got this book for $4.00 from Logos.
Baker? Who else publishes it? Peace! *smile*
I looked on Accordance as well as Olive Tree..no luck.Must be amazon.
Sigh
I bought this at retail from Logos. Guess which library I read it in. [:)]

Thanks, Josh! I'm not real wild for Carson but $3 is a no brainer.
I wonder how long the Logos price concept vs the Vyrso price concept can hold up, where the market differential is so great.
The other side of the coin is when you get an email with a diamond-plated commentary (none of this gold, bronze or silver stuff) at a bit over half the price of the Logos one. "Oh, XYZ publisher never discounts that one!" Not to mention the sale includes a volume not sign-up-able in Logos.
Where can I get it for $3.00....I have yet to find it. Also, I would love a "Diamond" at half price....hmmm....I am slow on the uptake and not going to ever know I guess.
Sigh.
(addendum: hey it was Amazon...neato).

Ummm, you guessed wrong! As this is a "reference"- type resource, I bought it from Logos a long time ago. But since it was only $3 I went ahead and bought it in Kindle format as well. now I have BOTH.
By the way, most of the free items on Vyrso are free on Amazon as well. It just takes a few clicks and I don't have to wait for Logos to implement their "export to Kindle" feature (we've been waiting what, 2 years already?)
Yep ... I made the mistake of reading my iPad too much. I'm not sure what causes so much eye strain (it couldn't be me and I turned down the contrast, so I can't read the letters ... clearly contrast per se isn't the issue).
So the PaperWhite's (Kindle) been getting more and more books to read.
Never did find out how you get that good deal on a "diamond" commentary.
