Learning Logos 5

I am a student @ The King's University.
Have Logos 5 Portfolio
I've been a web application programmer since the early 90s, on mac.. So extreme tech savvy.
But still I find Logos 5 not very user intuitive as it could be.
Not to say it does not rock with great content and features.
But I'm looking for ways to learn Logos like the back of my hand.
Can anyone tell me is learnlogos.com is worth the money?
Morris Proctor's Seminar is way out and would like to learn now.
Also wondering if there is any interest in a Logos Users Group in Dallas / Fort Worth, TX
Or if anyone minds training in the local area.

You can also try the Mastering Logos video series. It's $25 and has tons of videos.

Learnlogos.com is also great. You can join the free webinars and download older ones for $5. I also have the complete DVD training from LearnLogos.com and that is very good as well.
Also try Mark Barns videos and other user videos here:

Also these Logos 4 videos which still have much value and use in Logos 5

Well worth the money, especially for those with very, very little of it.
A free, live, interactive webinar is running tonight. Check the site for details.
You may also want to converse with Mark Barnes, an active member on this forum. The website he has is http://www.logosbiblesoftwaretraining.com. Each of his videos are free (to my knowledge).
Morris Proctor's material is well organized and distributed on both Logos and his site. IMO: Not for those with very little money or travel time/ability. It appears to be heavily linked to the Camp Logos seminar in order to really get the most out of it.
Now, let me ponder a bit about if I have broken the forum rules. I'm not well versed in this area, but trying. [:)]

This is awesome. Thanks for all these replies.
Can't take the webinar tonight due to class schedule.

Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Getting_Started_with_Logos with many Tips that are usable in Logos 5.
Logos has many free video tutorials => https://www.logos.com/videos
Personally have learned a lot from many friendly forum discussions plus have a lot to learn; my boundaries of ignorance keep expanding.
My favorite Logos feature is visual filter highlighting that combines hundreds of search results for simultaneous display; wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Extended_Tips_for_Highlighting_and_Visual_Filters#Examples_of_visual_filters
Thankful for Faithlife groups that can share Logos documents: Collections - Commentaries and Theologies, Logos Collections, Logos Syntax Searching, Logos Visual Filters, OT Quotes in the NT
Keep Smiling [:)]

TKUGer! REP-RE-SENT!
Hey Rick!
I used my one time educational discount on the Diamond package last year...
Had about 3 months left to go on Diamond payments, and a salesman ("Darrell Beason") sold me on another new car called "Portfolio".Turns out be calling him I got an incredible upgrade deal...
Also one of the guys here suggested LearnLogos.com
I called the 800# and bought their Logos 5 download Bundle and Logos 4 for college training for under 50 bucks...If you don't have that training, it is for sure needed for any TKU or TKUGer
