Super slow

In the past week I've noticed a considerable lag when scrolling through a text. I'll initially have success and then have to wait for the program to catch up. I checked my activity monitor and Logos was using 94.6% of my CPU. After a moment it drops back down to around 2% but every time I scroll it shoots back up . . . I have to wait . . . and then I can continue.

Anyone know what's happening or what I can do?

Hi Gregg:

Are you getting the same lag and activity monitor spike when scrolling through other programs on your Mac besides Logos? The reason I ask is I had the same problem with an older iMac that I previously used. It turned out to be a defective hard drive which Apple replaced. I'll let someone else who is more familiar with reading logs comment on them. Just thought I'd mention that because sometimes hardware problems can cause slowdowns.
