Had to reinstall
Wiped my tablet and restored to factor default.
My account now sees two tablet, and as a result, the books previously downloaded to the tablet are not automatically downloaded to the app after being installed.
It seems as if they are still on the sdcard, based on the amount of space left. Any way to make the app recognize the old settings?
If not, what is the best way to delete all of the downloaded resources short of formating the card.
I had over a thousand books downloaded to my tablet.

Restoring a device to factory settings gives it a new "device id" which means it looks like an entirely new device to your Logos account. This is a pain in this situation, but definitely a good thing in general...if you sell your device, you don't want the new user to have the same device id you were using.

Unfortunately I don't think there's a way to make it recognize the previously downloaded resources. You should be able to find a folder on your SD card called "com.logos.androidlogos" (or something similarly Logos-related, don't remember off the top of my head) and delete it, which will remove the old downloaded resources without formatting the card.

Been there done that!
Fortunately my habit of renaming the default tablet name helped me to know which was the defunct name so I did not delete the current tablet in error!
What I now have done is to create a collection of books to be downloaded - or rather a collection of several smaller sub collections. I can then go into the library on my PC, set a search to the main collection so that only the books in that collection are shown, select them all and I can then mark all of them for download together.
It sure helps to speed up the process once set up but does not help if you are on a low download limit with your provider of course.
When I now add a couple of new reading books I just add them to the "reading books" collection and go through the same procedure with just that sub-collection.
