In my library half of my resources are automatically tagged as "Monograph".. (4.5k)

Perhaps I think Logos could update how you guys categorized these materials.. maybe narrow them down to like .. "topical or counseling or sermons or apologetic or eschatology" or something instead of making everything under Monograph!! (yes, there's community tags, but I like looking at Logos formal way)

Even under commentary you guys could narrow the commentary into 2 divisions, old and new.. that would help a lot.

Additionally, can you guys make the library remember how the library was last open? like was it full window or resized window.. or was it sorted under "last updated" or something else..

Thank you.

You are aware of the subject entry that does narrow things down? The type field primarily tells you how it is indexed and therefore where you can use in the the Guides (or it will be automatically used). Not saying that I wouldn't also like to see narrower categories - just making sure you understand why it is as it currently is.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

The Subjects column contains information along these lines, and users can request changes to metadata (what you see in Library columns) to improve consistency and utility e.g. see http://community.logos.com/forums/t/73354.aspx.

You can also tag and rate resources to make your own categories, or to supplement existing metadata. If you are clear about your needs then tagging is very rewarding, but you don't have to tag every resource once you appreciate the information already available.

Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Canonical_Commentary_Collections with collection rules for every Bible book.

Sorting Library by Type shows 60 % of resources are Monograph (Logos 5 Portfolio with Verbum Capstone plus more):

Suspect resource type defaults to Monograph unless resource has specific content (e.g. Date, Headword, Verse, ...) or publication source (e.g. Ancient Manuscript, Journal, Magazine, Manual).

Likely - but most books sold by Logos are monographs "a treatise on a particular subject". Doesn't explain Vyrso fiction but ...
