Has anyone loaded Logos 5 on a Windows tablet's SD card instead of on the main memory?
Please advise.
It's not recommended because of speed: SD cards are slower than internal storage. Logos does a lot of "disk" access, especially when indexing, and using an SD card for resource and index storage can really slow it down.
Here's one user's experience:

It works OK if you are on a full Windows 8/8.1 tablet and the main "memory"/drive is not an SSD, because the SD card is so much slower and Logos should be on the faster drive! If main "memory" is MMC then a microSD card is comparable.
The SD card (microSD) should be Class 10 and at least 16 GB, depending on the size of your current Logos 5 installation. Then ensure it is formatted NTFS (you can do this via Window's Disk Management). You must install Logos 5 using the Custom option and specify the installation path as e.g. \, where D is the SD card's drive letter.
Finally if you have large library (over 1000 resources) a full index will take a very long time.
