What would be the quickest way to find whether the FaithLife Study Bible contains a Word Study on the Greek word δουλος doulos?
Try a Basic Search on the word δουλος . But why would FSB have a Word Study as it is type:"bible notes"?
EDIT: to match irrespective of marks use [match nomarks]δουλος
Since it's a Study Bible it not only has notes to the bible text, but in a section called Sidebars also thematical articles (e.g. Atonement, Baptism, Election... which is not uncommon for study bibles, e.g. the ESV has them, too), People and Group Studies, so-called Context Studies like Interpreting Jonah, The Fool in Proverbs, The Endig of Mark, and - potentially relevant here - Slavery in the First Century, and some Word Studies. Unfortunately "doulos" seems not (yet) to be one of them:
however, the FSB may give some more info to this word in bible notes. As a non-academic resource, FSB will use transliterated Greek rather than the Greek alphabet, thus a search for "doulos" will yield better results (six hits) than for δουλος (zero):
Unfortunately, the LBD also is lacking an article on Doulos/Slave/Servant. FSB links some other resources, though.
