The Logos forums have developed into a very useful, and I might say, edifying tool. Would it be wrong to create a Technical forum concerning OS-Computer problems so that among our fellow Bible lovers we could obtain help?
As an I.T. professional, my only fear is that everyone considers them selves a computers expert regardless of external evidence. I have spent too much time "fixing" the fixes of these self same technicians.
I understand your concern here. I usually search the web for a solution but figured I would get the answer much quicker if I accessed fellow Logos-ites. Truth is , we all have to wade through junk to get what we are looking for anyway.
By the way Terry, my cookies are enabled. I have checked and rechecked. Yet I have to sign in EVERY time I go to the forums or any other password accessed site! I don't understand it.

I agree, Although the idea sounds good, could be quite dangerous
Shawn herein lies the problem. The varieties of configuration are endless, so, while I live in Mac/Linux with Safari, Firefox and I.E. as my browsers, I have no idea what you use. This is why I have a sign on my desk that says "Not I won't fix your computer"
But given you are my neighbor, and my love of you is motivated by the sacrifice of our Lord [;)], I will give it a try. If it were simply the Logos site, I would suspect a corrupt cookie and tell you to try clearing your cookies (and or cache). But given it is for all sites, I would suspect something in your security settings is the cause of the problem. You could do as I do, and turn you security to it's lowest point, although I don't suggest that unless you like being an open target for hackers and virus. But you could do it for a short time and see if that cures your problem. If it does, then you could experiment with the settings in the security tab of your browser to see what actually is causing the problem.
BTW, please take this post with good humor and add any non-verbal clues that you need to help you get past my attempts at humor.
Thanks for the advice. Hey! Proves my point! You helped me because I am a brother in Christ!!![H]

We actually solve/workaround quite a lot of technical problems when we solve L4 problems! You also see many (technical) suggestions to improve performance of L4. I wouldn't want to be diverted to pure technical problems and it would create problems for Logos wrt product advertising (speed up RAM memory with .....). My suggestion would be a better search tool for the forums, but if you know how to use Google (with site:community.logos.com) you already have a better tool!
My suggestion would be a better search tool for the forums
