reference book question

Is there a reference book or a way to search for lists of Biblical examples of topics that would be helpful for finding Biblical illustrations? For example, if you were teaching on faith, you would go to Heb. 11 and use those guys as an illustration of faith. But what if you wanted to use some more obscure folks just so that you're not going to the same well all the time.

Also the following work is very helpful. It is not by topic, but once you go to Hebrews for example, you will find other related scriptures, many of which cover the same topic.

The topic search in Logos should bring up the most relevant bible references, provided someone put them into topics.logos.com or Logos curated them somehow from the dictionary resources in the LCV.

I regularly use the NTSK. I remember MacArthur saying that he used some book, but I can't remember the name. I looked for it once but it was hard to find anything with a preview and was unavailable in digital format. The Dictionary of Bible Themes, New Topical Textbook, and Where to Find it in the Bible work adequately. I found the Topic Search to be lacking, but I didn't buy the upgrade and I think it requires a dataset to work properly. I was just wondering if I was missing some goldmine resource that was in my Logos library or could be reasonably added. I appreciate the input.

This is my collection of Topical reference books. Some of these have been mentioned already by others above, but there are more. If after looking these up on the Logos website you'd like to see more of a sample excerpt of any of them than you can find there, let me know.

EDIT: You might wonder why the New Dictionary of Biblical Theology is listed in there, but it is organized topically, and each article contains Bible references where you can find examples/illustrations of that topic.

Sure, but many of mine were picked up by my tagging them as Topical.

Here's my rule: title:topic OR mytag:topical

And I've had to manually exclude quite a number of them that were picked up by title:topic but which didn't belong in the collection:

Personally, I find the Dictionary of Bible Themes to be head and shoulders the best topical Bible. But look in your library for type:bible-concordance. Anything listed there would be useful.

I hadn't thought of adding that to my rule. Of the additional resources that picks up for me, I find that only two are ones that I'd want to add to my Topical collection (the two I've highlighted below), so I've tagged them Topical:
