Anchor Yale Bible: Proverbs 1-9, Michael V. Fox

Since last year Logos has offered volume two, chaps 10-31 (http://bit.ly/1cEXJhR) — but they don't have volume one, Proverbs 1-9. That is, they don't have it individually; they have it as part of a very expensive set.

This is kinda ridiculous. I tried to get one of a Logos sales associates to follow up on this last year, and he blew me off.

Logos, please pursue this! Both should be available!

In an ideal world yes, but you must remember Logos contracts (as we are told) most often do not allow for individual sale. Logos has been able to get series broken up in the past, most notably the New International Commentary was broken up, but this happened just before a massive amount of new sets were released to pre pub for Eerdmans (leaving one to speculate they were able to negotiate it). Yale may not be as easy to work with. Logos already lost the rights to sell the Mathew volume (even though it was included in november with the Accordance release, so technically it should be very doable for Logos to get it back). Yale stopped the release of the defence library by many months for contract reviews. Yale may well not want the series broken up. Some works are magnificent and others seem almost not worth it at all... This way they get to sell all of them. I know it isn't right but not 100% sure Logos is the one to blame.
