Will there be an update to the IVP Essentials collection that includes the 2nd edition of the Dictionary of Jesus and the Gospels?
There is already, in a way. The IVP Bible Dictionary Series contains a license to the new edition, so that if you purchase that collection, you will receive the 2nd edition resource when it is released. Also, that collection has dynamic pricing, so you only pay for the volumes you don't already own. (You will have to pay for the second edition if you own the first edition. It's not a free upgrade.)
