I have not seen this happen in any other place, but when I started audio for Jonah 1 in ESV, the audio starts out about 4 verses ahead and stays there. See video (run it in IE) at my dropbox link:

I didn't get the same result but I did notice that in Jonah the visual cue which "splashes" at the verse being read goes out of sync with the audio.
Restarted Logos just in case, and I get the same result. I haven't noticed this in other passages. However I don't use the "Read Aloud" often.
