Voting for John Owen is practical. His works on logos are tremendous in value and this is represented in the high price tag.
Tozer would be ashamed if you didn't follow his Pursuit of God as he followed men like Owen. Furthermore, of Tozer's 40 books, only 2 are considered classics, both of which are small enough to read at one sitting and can be purchased on the cheap (100-138 pages for just a few bucks on Logos).
Owen, on the other hand, while taking some discipline to read and understand, wrote several weighty and scholarly classics which have had a profound influence on some of today's most influential and godly pastors and theologians (J.I. Packer, Sinclair Ferguson, R.C. Sproul, John Piper, John MacArthur, D.A. Carson, and Alister McGrath). He is by many accounts almost certainly the greatest theologian Great Britain has ever produced. His works on Logos (24 meaty volumes) are quite expensive. You owe it to yourself to help Owen get at the very least into the final 4.
P.S. John Owen tried to convince Parliament release John Bunyan from prison. He deserves your vote for that alone. His devotion to the Gospel also led him to speak publicly against the brutal campaign of Oliver Cromwell against the Irish (which led to him losing his chancellorship at Oxford University).
P.S.P.S. Why get 75% off of a book that costs $5 when you could get 75% off of the volumes of Owen which sell for $20 per volume?
