Bible Reading Plan in Written Chronological Sequence
I have not yet found this desired feature. Is it currently available in Logos 4 for PC and Mac, since I have both?
I would like to rearrange my Bible reading following the Reese Chronological Bible sequence of reading.
In the New Testament, I would like arrange the books according to the listing found in "The Untold Story of the New Testament Church" by Frank Viola, as follows...thanks!

reese can be found on the net, so I wont post it here, plus its still in copyright both in US and globally to my knowledge, so you are very unlikely to get someone to post it here.
there are several plans in the wiki if you plan on creating your own plan, they will give you an idea how to create you own
In essence seperate the Books with commas, and copy paste into the plan
Galatians,James,1 Thessalonians,2 Thessalonians, [etc]

As an experiment, I have copied " A Chronological Reading of the Bible" and gone to Logos 4/File/Reading Plan and up comes a "Read the ESV in One Year" with a blank page below it. I changed the title to "Chronological Reading of the Bible in One Year". But, I can't get the white space below to be responsive to receiving the paste from the wiki site copy.
How do I activate the pasting of the new chronological reading list there? Or, is there a different place or sequence to accomplish this?
By the way, is it possible to have two reading plans in Logos 4 or is only one at a time?

In the Reading Plan window, click on any of the blue links in the "Read" strand. They are all customizable and allow you to create any kind of reading plan you desire.
You can make as many reading plans as you would like. Just open a new Reading Plan from the File menu and name it whatever you'd like.
Also, you can set up a Reading Plan for any book you own, not just Bibles

How does one get the new Reading Plan page in List view to accept the paste in of the books in chronological order I copied from the Wiki?
It does not become receptive to pasting in. What step am I missing?

Did you paste the Chrono strand into the Reference box under 'All Passages'? Once you do that, hit the 'GO!' button and you should be off to the races. You can then click the List view to see the reading plan in a list instead of a calendar.

Interestingly, under the "All Passages" appears a box with all the various options to pick from of how much of the Bible one wants in their reading plan.
I can't find or activate any clear box under "All Passages" into which to paste the chrono.
Here is a screen shot of what comes up after hitting "Go" when I couldn't find any empty box to paste into. I am still missing something. Oops, unfortunately, the Forum does not accept my CaptureWiz Pro insertions even when I save them as a gif/jpeg/png file and try to paste it in.

Then starts the genesis 1, etc. listing with the check-off box.

Above the various options you should have 2 boxes; Reference Range and Title, with a 'save' button next to the title box.

HI Brandon,
I got the title made to "Chronologically Through Bible Daily 1 Year".
My remaining question is how/where to I paste in all the Bible books in chrono order that I copied from the Wiki you gave me?
In other words, how/where to I put the new "body" of data for the new title?
The "body" is now automatically filled with the original Logos 4 reading plan. I can't select the body of books and replace them. "How/where" still is my continuing question. When this is accomplished, I will have completed my mission.

Once the reference strand is copied, paste it into the box titled Reference Range. If the strand has an error, the box will turn red, if not then you are good to go.

By golly, Brandon, it worked. I never intuitively thought all that long string of 66 books would fit in that box called "Reference Range". Bravo to you for sticking with me in this learning curve experience.

Starting 2010 Chronological Reading Plan, I lost the top bar indication of the name of the year's reading program. Neither of my 2 programs have it. Where is the setting that turns that on in the bar that starts with "Passage Guide", then "English Standard Version"?
It was there a few days ago. I can't find where to "turn it on" in either "Program Settings" nor the "Layout" options.
I suspect it is some simple command somewhere, but it is not intuitive to me in finding it.

Is there a way to keep your Reading Plan is List View? I used one of the "chronological NT in a year" plan that was posted in the forum but it always goes back to the calendar view. I have put it in list view, renamed it, and saved it in list view to a layout and it always goes back to calendar view when L4 is opened.

One descriptive identifier would be helpful on these various chronological reading plans - distinguish which is in the order of events occurrences, and the other in the order of the writings. For example, which is Morris Proctor's "Chronological Reading Plan into Logos 4" at http://wiki.logos.com/Reading_Plans - event occurrences or the sequence in time of the writings of the reading selections? I am adding his list as my third optional reading plan by way of which I can compare with the "A Chronological reading of the bible" on the same page.
Do any of you know what distinguishes the "More Elaborate Chronological Reading Plans:" on the same page? It would be most helpful to have an identifying description of each of these plans in parenthesis after each title, so we could decide on their use without a lot of laborious added research, since, I assume the originator(s) of the placements know that information - hopefully [^o)]
Has anyone put together the reading list for insertion to an alternative reading plan of the Tyndale "The NLT One Year Chronological Bible"? This one purports to be in the order of event occurrence in these words - "Now you can gain a better understanding of the order of biblical events and the historical context in which they unfolded. It would be GREAT to have Logos provide the Tyndale book contents in a daily reading plan with the enrichments for understanding which Tyndale lists, namely, "prophetic books are interwoven with the historical accounts they
accompanied. Psalms follow the events about which they were written.
Proverbs are placed in the time frame in which they were compiled. The
life of Christ is woven into one moving story. And Paul’s letters to
the young churches in the first century are integrated into the book of
Acts.
